Atramental

Room 1015’s Atramental is an olfactory ode to the tattoo experience. Gritty leather and black ink swirl beneath a metallic shine. Vegan animalic castoreum and cistus labdanum evoke the skin’s response to the tattoo gun — raw, searing and proud.

Room 1015 teamed up with artist, tattooer and creative director Maxime Plescia-Buchi, founder of Sang Bleu Tattoo Studios, to bring his signature geometric style to the bottle presentation for the 50ml Limited Edition 2022 version of Atramental. As of September 2023, we’ve only got a few of the Limited Edition bottles left, so get it before it’s gone!

The idea behind ATRAMENTAL was to create a perfume inspired by the tattoo experience with notes of leather and ink. A fragrance with a raw feel: Castoreum and smoked leather notes that remind the damaged skin, metallic notes as a reference to blood and notes of ink together with fresh and clean bergamot. So addictive… just like tattoos.
